Title: Brunswick Well Known for Ball Life
Post by: Xfest on July 28, 2006, 04:17:12 PM
I am pleased to say that my Brunswick BVP Ambush went over the 500 game mark today, and still rolls and hooks like a champ. I have had the ball since january and its at its 7th month and at 500 games, and it still hooks like when it was first born in my arsenal. I am very impressed over this fact, because no other ball company has had success like Brunswick. I have heard numerous reports in Ebonite in example, that the ball died shortly after 25 games - 50 games, 75, etc.. I am not bashing on Ebonite at all, just stating facts.

Also - I haven't heard anyone on here saying that the ball "died" or "lost hook potential" in this forum. I am very pleased with Brunswick and how they put "quality" for "the ball to last" when they design a ball.

I throw it all, just give me a ball, I'll throw it. =]

to reply - i have my ambush at a 800 grit scotchbrite pad, and use it for some of the heavy and some of it being medium-light. after each event of bowling, i just properly clean the ball with Track Clean and Dull. It does not alter the surface, just drags the oil out of the ball and cleans the coverstock.

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

MY INFERNOS WILL SMOKE YOU!!!

Since I only throw Infernos, just call me the Flamethrower.
