How to drill my new Diamondback??
« on: March 08, 2010, 02:59:30 AM »
Well it came in today  and Im going in at noon tomorrow to get it drilled.. I know the driller will watch me throw a few balls and mark my track lines and go from there, but I did have another question..

Since its a matte ball and from what I have heard starts Turning a little quicker , for more of an arc roll, Now will I want to drill this pin up to get the best of both worlds, using the balls natural matte cover then add a little more hook on the backend? Or would it benefit me more to drill pin down for just a quicker spinning more arc roll?

The inventory issue you mentioned is most likely with your pro shops distributor, not Brunswick.  Also, Brunswick's shoes are licensed and made by Dexter, they have nothing to do with the ball manufacturing plant.  I'm not sure which part of the country you are in but the distributors in our area have Diamondbacks and 3.5's in all weights in stock.  Hope this helps.
