Brunswick Rampage or Smokin Inferno
« on: November 03, 2006, 02:27:30 AM »
I am interested in getting either one of these balls. I wanted for medium conditions. Drilled for length and good backend reaction. I was thinking of the Smokin inferno. Let me know how you have your drilled.

thank you

Smokin may not be a very good for Medium lane. I have one but works great only on Dry. I have my Blazing, Intense and smokin are drilled the same but my smokin come very weak at the backend or very unpredictable on Medium. I would go for Rampage unless if you want it for dry.

Don't make me wrong I loved my Smokin and I throw High rev with Medium speed. It's drilled 2L and the CG is Slightly IN but the ball perfectly fit on Dry than Medium. It could be aggressive with 2E and CG OUT instead of IN but this ball already found a spot on Dry.

It depends on his amount of revs and drilling, because my Smokin is perfect for true mediums (I have a lot of revs and a strong drilling however)

I am leading towards the smokin inferno because I have alot of revs and I like for my ball to get down lane. Rev hard on the backend. I might consider the smokin white pin that bowlingball.com is offering. I have the punisher for drier condition.

I miss my Smokin'. It's pretty good on a broken down shot, or lighter shot. The backend really makes this ball shine. Mine was pin up and right of ring, cg stacked. Great ball, and a bargain now.

My pin action is just SICK!

I made up my mind and I am going to get the smokin inferno. I want to know if I get the Brunswick vapor zone for medium to oily fresh shot. Would this ball be good for this condition. Bob I looked in your profile and I see that you have the vapor zone. Can you tell me how you like your vapor zone?

Thank you all for helping me out.
