Has anyone elses Ultimate Died
« on: December 18, 2006, 11:05:58 AM »
It seems that my Ultimate inferno is pretty dead, if I stop using it for awhile then go back to it, it hits like a beast again. I just don't get it anymore. Has anyone else had this problem or feeling

sometimes leaving it sit for a while will let the oil soke deep down

and it will act like new again until the cover gets flooded again

Bowling balls do need maintanence, sounds like a rejuvination is in order. A combination of a hot water bath and light resurfacing is in order. This is a good time to replace finger inserts as well!

the oil has no where to go, but i suppose it may go to the lower part of the 1 inch coverstock layer.. since the filler layer is water proof and oil resistant/proof also.

this ball is designed for oily lanes. you may be using it on a condition that is too dry and the ball is rolling out. if not, have the ball run through the rejuvenator or revivor machines that many pro shops have. then have it resurfaced with a haus-type machine and your ball will be good as new.

No, but I know what you are saying. I got a MORICH ONSLAUGHT and it did not work. It seemed to just skate all the way down to the pins with little or no break. I put it in the bag and went to my PYRO which worked great for the lanes I bowl on. One night I pulled the MO out during practice to see what it would do and the ball hit like a truck. The lanes were oiled the same, so I am not sure what happened to it. I did not change anything on the ball, I threw it the same way, stood the same spot and looked at the same target, but this time I actually had to speed up to keep it on my side of the pins.

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!

  • Don't blame the lanes, blame the bowler! Adjust!
