Without any further delay... My Vid!

Kudos for standing up to the heat, MegaMav.  Everything looks good from what I can see- pretty fluid and smooth style.

From what I have seen, your "criticism" of others isn't anything for anyone to be upset about.  The only people who have a problem are people who don't have enough intesinal fortitude to draw confidence from themselves; they rely on the opinions of others to shape their self-esteem.

While I have seen you make statements of opinion that are often strong, they are nothing disrespectful or rude.  Sometimes the truth hurts, people.  If you take it too personally, that's a YOU problem.

Again, the fact that you are opening yourself up to a potential sh_t storm of criticism, especially in light of the whole Frank The Tank thread, gets you a little respect in my book.

From what I see your game is pretty solid, but you do look a little late at the line.  This could be intentional since you do have what looks like a tweener style release.  Overall it looks like you have put some work in.

For a moment there I thought that might be a BCB rolling out of the ball return... so much for that idea.

thanks for all the positive feedback guys, i do work hard, very hard to get everything perfect, i watch a lot of tape of PBA bowlers to get the most out of it that i can.

I have been coached by Kenny Hall, former PBA pro and one of his good friends Bill Carl.

that ball rolling out of the return is a Rough Buffed Scorchin Inferno, I was bowling with my buddy Lee from work, he just drilled it up yesterday.

when i put on the rough buff I pushed pretty hard on the spinner, to get it as close to 1000 grit as possible, but it was still too much for the condition.

what you were seeing out there was a pretty straight trajectory due to only a small finger of oil in the middle and HUGE deserts to the front left and right.

i normally dont play that straight and flat, but I had no choice.

Rev it up, cuts over the headpin, throw it out, too much friction and roll out.

That was a combat zone tracer, and it was rolling out from the friction to the outside, thats pretty sad, I felt bad for my buddy, but he enjoyed hooking it 25 boards with his new scorchin.

moved inside and played a tight line, not my A game but just part of what i can do.

I bowl at Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady, NY, in fact im headed there right now for league.

Thanks again for the feedback.

I actually like your style, everything except for the big knee bend at the start(just doesnt work for me).  Im actually currently trying to get out of my "cranker" style, its more of a POWER stroker, but i get LOTS of revs without a ton of speed.

Funnily enough, most people want to turn the ball more, cause it creates area.  It seems that lately the more i rev the ball up, the less area i get.

If there is 1 part of your game i would like to get into my game is your finish position.  I have a lot of trouble with turning at the line, & falling off at times.

I have aquired alot more revs lately and I have noticed the same thing. I have also noticed that your speed and rev rate need to match the condition. Last night I had no room at all until I brought my speed way up. Then I had plenty of room.

I was expecting the worst when I posted this video originally.

So far I've been plesantly surprised with the positive feedback.

When I bowled with Parker Bohn III last spring he suggested to be more upright at the line, as that would increase leverage.

I have worked on many things he mentioned to me, BUT that part.

Does anyone think this is critical?

Your game looks simple and repeatable.  That is good.

I agree with PBIII about staying upright at the line.  To help you with that, you may want to try being more upright from the beginning.  If you get your weight forward during the first two steps, you'll be bending too much at the waist at the line instead of at the knees.

The past 5 weeks I've been averaging close to 220 on THS, see "My Season" link at the top.

The house I bowled christmas tree on (Non-THS), had a horible wood surface, lane machine wasnt consistent week to week, and the walls on each side of the building were drafty, not making an excuse, but it was hard going for 16 weeks.

In addition, you appear to be a finessee player vs a power player.  I can't see the ball roll all that well, but thats appears to be the case.

got it to play finally, not bad, about what I expected , but you must make alot of bad shots to average that low at Boulevard. Are alot of your misses pulls?

Past 5 Weeks ive been averaging close to 220 at boulevard.

carry has been an issue with everyone this season so far.

the gutters seem extra deep, just eating up 6's and 4's.

over/under from little buffing on the pattern.

overall, I plan on finishing strong, ending up around 215.

BTW, that 197 average from last season was NOT at boulevard, but at Olympic.
