Title: C system 2.5 finish question
Post by: Moon57 on October 10, 2009, 07:41:14 AM
Is a 4000 micropad just another name for an 4000 abralon pad? I ordered a 2.5 Thursday and just assumed it was a 4000 abralon pad finish.

On Wednesday my team bowled against a team where 3 of the 5 guys were using 2.5's. The ball was really throwing the pins around once they found the right line. I normally don't come home from bowling and order a ball that I had just seen used but the 2.5 was different enough that I felt I better get one. I'm probably going to put a 5 x 3 pin over fingers with a low hole on it.

Brunswick uses Siaair pads. They are similar to the competitors, but they last longer because of the structural weave of the abrasive pad.

Has anybody compared the abralon pads to the siaair pads to see if they actually last longer?
