« on: June 14, 2010, 04:16:17 PM »
Has anyone thinking of getting this ball when it comes out? for those of you who has both 3.5 and 2.5 how did you drill yours and if your getting the 4.5 how would you drill it?

it will respond faster to friction then the other c-system balls... so it depends on what you are looking for it to do. Do you want good length or do you want it to read earlier... it just depends on your current arsenal!

I saw a staffer throwing it on a house pattern last night and the ball was amazing.. To me, it had a totally different roll than the 3.5 he was using in warm ups.. It sure did snap on the backend, I will tell you that..

I just had two balls laid out tonight to be drilled.  I asked the pro to recommend one more Big B ball and he said the C System 4.5.  According to him, this is going to be long and strong, and he says once I throw this on a league house shot, I am not going to want to throw anything else.

So I might have to start saving my quarters...

My 4.5 goes longer and turns more abruptly than it's predecessors. I'm really liking what I see so far.

I would have to agree with Lane. I used mine on the chameleon pattern in my PBAX league and on the fresh I could get to the pocket but it was just a little too over under for my liking with its out of box surface. But once the lanes had transitioned a bit and the heads started to go I switched to the 4.5 and man was it a GREAT look. It gets through the heads cleanly even when my 2.5 starts burning up and reading too early due to too much friction. All around this is another fantastic piece of equipment from Brunswick.
