First 300
« on: February 24, 2007, 12:46:19 AM »
I thought I should let the Brunswick Nation know I shot my first 300 last weekend at our City Tournament on the Senior Allstar Team. I was using my Absolute Inferno drilled 41/2 x 2 oob . Every ball was in the pocket. I have been close before but it coming in the city tournament made it great. I`m up grading my ring to 14k gold ! Thanks everyone for all your posts and info,I have learned so much.

congratulations---a 300 game is still a great achievement in my book ! think long and hard about getting the 14k gold ring. the 10k is much more durable and looks just as good.

I shot games

644 singles    Just missed low to cash by 2 pins.
The 300 game will pay $100.

Greg, I think you might be right. My son rolled a 300 last year and I upgraded his to 10K for Christmas. I thought maybe the 14K would look richer. I do plan on wearing it most everyday. I also I`m thinking about getting the Regal style instead of the Monarch because I have small fingers, size 9. Have you seen it? Just wonder if it looks just as good as the monarch style.
Right now the cost of the monarch 10K is $494. The Regal is only $339 for 10K. Thats one reason I might get the smaller ring. Thanks Mike

not to put a damper on your 300 but i think the "old" abc 300 rings are better looking than the usbc rings.
