Rampage + Rough Buff

Just wondering if anyone has used rough buff or knows someone that has used rough buff on a Rampage. I was thinking about giving it a try to get a different look with the ball and wanted to get some opinions first. Thanks

Really just looking to smooth the break point out and bring it back a little. If this doesn't do it I was thinking about putting a x-hole on my PAP.

Ya, I know the ball is naturally skid/flip in nature, which is fine, I just wanted to see if I could get it to make a less dramatic move off the dry. I might just have to place it in a different spot in the arsenal than was originally intended. Thanks for the replies.

Even give 4000 abralon a try, then 2000 if it's still too flippy. Abralon with no polish is easier to duplicate than rough buff polish.

I would suggest first trying a green nylon pad and by hand LIGHTLY roughing up the surface, just enough to take some of the shine/gloss of the ball.

You shouldn't use Rough buff over the existing cover. To do it right, you'd need to sand the ball to 220 or 320 grit and then apply Rough Buff over it.

The nylon pad may be all you need or will, at least, give you a "flavor" for the reaction that will smooth out the flip of the stock surface.
