Eliminator or Bruiser?
« on: April 18, 2004, 12:35:44 PM »
I have been using a ScreamR and a Detonator. The Detonator was too much ball for my Sunday league with original Cover. So I put a coat of Docs on it and it has worked good when there is some Oil. I need something inbetween those two balls. I have been thinking of the Bruiser or Eliminator. Not sure which to go with.

Winning and Losing are both very temporary things. Having done one or the other, we move on. Gloating over Victory or Sulking in Defeat is a good way to Stand Still.

Either one will work. I have both, similarly drilled, pin under ring, stacked, Bruiser slightly more aggressive at 5.5 x 5.5 stacked, and the Fuze Eliminator is more like 5-3/4 x 5-3/4 stacked, neither with a weight hole. The Bruiser is at 1000 grit but lightly polished, and the Fuze is box grit with a light shine. Both play similar, although the Fuze is slightly more susceptible to burning up early as the head oil gets lighter/spotty. The Eliminator is just a touch more "even" in its reaction. I feel comfortable with either ball. In my home center, the Bruiser carries a bit better, probably due to the oil volume being a bit light for the Eliminator. However, as I stated, either ball will work - they aren't that much different in reaction.
