I threw the ball for a while w/ a 100 degree lay out and found that it worked best on really broken down shots.  I hated this ball on oil... i can't explain it but for me and at least 6 other college bowlers i can think of that throw this ball it only seems to work on drier conditions. Same cover as the UI w/ a core that revs up faster so i expected it to work on oil but it just didn't.  Tried it w/ 600 grit, 800 grit, 1000 and polished.  liked it most when it was 800 grit on drier patterns when i needed something that would be mellow on the back end.

The Strike Zone has the cover from the Ultimate Inferno, which was good in oil for a reactive. The Zone core provides a more angular breakpoint than the Ultimate, however.

To answer your question, though, all of the balls mentioned are good in oil if you keep them on the dull side, perhaps 800-1000 grit so you don't lose all the back end movement.
