noob - kinda... Howdy!!
« on: March 05, 2008, 06:36:13 AM »
New to the site and also returned to bowling after a 25yr hiatus...  at the behest of my brother (at BB&B employee) we've both decided to get back into bowling...  so I'm still learning an awful lot...  seems as though things have changed a bit since i was rollin back in the day...  at any rate, we've been back rollin about once per week since about mid summer, of course we are supporting the brand and I've been "relearning" how to throw using a Rampage which i've really grown to enjoy especially lately as things seem to be clicking pretty well and am consistently hitting close to 170 with the occasional 200ish game...  just took delivery of a twisted fury to add in my bag but still wanna get a milder ball like a groove and even a t-zone for a straight ball...

anyway, i'm gettin started and I'm enjoyin myself a lot...  as a golfer i'm finding out that bowling is every bit as subtle as golf on technique, which appeals to me....  at any rate, howdy, if i ask some dumb questions don't beat me up to bad!!!

i was a kid back then, pushing close to 40 now though...  with 3 kids, a wife, job, and other hobbies it's tough to find time, but, it is certainly relaxing to go roll, keeps my mind off of the stressful parts of life...
