No love for the impulse zone?

I really haven't seen any discussion on this ball on here.  Does nobody like it or something?  Those who do have it, where would you say it fits in your arsenal?  I'm contemplating getting one.

I shot 300 with my Rico1 Impulse back in April, smooth rolling ball, I just prefer the Pearls.

The ball does real well sheened on shorter fresh patterns!

I'd like to get one, but my Fuze Eliminator amazes me over and over... must be a good ball, though. The first test ball here in Germany did after drilling in the hands of Achim Grabowski a 300. Not bad...

From what I have seen in league play, carry is very good.

If it reacts similar to the Eliminator due to the light particle load, it should make a tremendous oil bll when you take the polish off and apply a high grit, sheen surface (2000 grit or a white Trizact pad).

Just looks a bit boring...

The problem with the Impulse is the same problem that the Eliminator had.  It isn't flashy;  it just knocks pins down.

Also, the Impulse was released in the shadow of the hype for the Absolute, and thus got kinda lost in the shuffle.

I have one plugged and ready to drill.

I thought it was a particle pearl.  The ones I've seen in real life have had a VERY rounded and smooth backend... Sort of slow reading off the break!

I have not punched mine yet!

The ones I saw on TV from the tour looked the same  ...a very slow read off the break....which probably makes it great for wet dry!

I used mine at the ABC tourney. It was my first time ever there. I'm glad I carried the ball with me because for me the back ends were really moving this ball was the only ones that kept a real nice smoth break. Prior to using it there I maybe had 10 games at most on the ball and since then maybe 5. But for that weekend, it was the ball!

Couldn't have said it better myself.  My IZ is the best wet/dry ball in the bag.  It doesn't flare much and reacts like an old urethane for the most part.  

It gets loved around here.

We have drilled a bunch and sold a good number on the web.
The ball is another sleeper for guys who bowl tournaments or like a strong arc.
Coverstock is very tunable and matches up for a lot of different players.(at least around here)
BUT... hard to sell sometimes because guys want the Inferno line balls where a cheaper ball may do them just as well and save them some $$$ in the end also.
