do away with inferno line?
« on: October 27, 2005, 04:39:37 AM »
i see that the zone and bvp bowling balls being very popular. that being said are we going to see more of these balls in the future. maybe all new high preformance line. infernos are popular to but i been noticing latley people leaning towards the more affordable priced balls. looking at ambush myself because of price and my needs. so will we see any more infernos or any high performance balls in the future?

well, the zone balls were once brunswick's high performance line...
so maybe the infernos will be demoted to mid grade performance balls, one day.

personally, i get all my equipment on ebay, so the price on the high performance stuff is more than reasonable.

IMO, pro shops are the ones that need to adjust their prices to stay competitive.

instead of making $50-$75 profit each ball, maybe they should wise up and start pricing equipment closer to cost, say $20 profit w/o drilling.

that way you wont be breaking the bank for high performance equipment.
word of mouth will spread more rapidly also, repeat buying will occur.

didnt know zone balls were the high preformance balls. yea i would buy in the pro shop if they were cheaper but its better to get from on line shop than get it drilled for 50 dollars with grips.

they once were though, back in the mid-late 90's.
with the danger/sapphire etc...

i was in my early teens back then, so i really dont know if there was a bowling line above zone, as i wasnt into equipment back then like i am now.

i just assumed that it was, based on the fact that all i saw from brunswick then was ZONE ZONE ZONE!
