Could you use it for heavy oil?

you can technically use any ball on any lane condition if you want to change the surface, but from what I read the SS stands for Super Strong. The chart shows that it made for medium to heavy oil.

Actually, the SS means strong symmetric.

Everyone's definition of "heavy oil" seems to be different.  I believe the ball at factory surface of 1500 handles plenty, unless you're speed dominant, and then I'd guess that it would still handle medium volume well.

I am neither speed or rev dominant so I tweaked mine to 4000 so I could play in my comfort area on typical house shots, and it's still smooth and easy to use.

Any feelings on a comparison between SS and a symmetrical Fix?  Seems like they might be similar strength and motion.
