This isn't my first video made, just the first one I edited. I've come a long way into having a free armswing. I'll try to edit my video from May to show comparison.

Let me know what yall think. =)

Maybe try keeping your arm closer to your body.

Nice shots, and good picture quality. Good job!

Well, I'd also recommend some coaching. Your pendulum and footwork do not seem to fit each other well. You appear to be very fast with your feet, taking very small steps and almost "jumping" or hobbling.

From far it is hard to help or make a valid recommendation. I'd focus on a more upright body and square shoulders to your target. Your right shoulder appears to stay dropped all the time, and I am sure that you can generate much more leverage and ball power when you keep your upper body square and upright throughout the swing. Slowing down your feet and let the (free) ball pendulum guide your speed. I guess you might even see more ball action on the lane if you try this.

Nevertheless, I'd consult a coach on this who can help you on site.

I do have a coach onsite and I have been hearing the same things from him. Stay low and don't pop up. Tried the towel in armpit but ended up hitting myself with the ball. Yep, I do pull the ball when I do miss, just like the first shot.

My coach didn't say anything about my approach though... Maybe I should push away later to slow down my steps?

Here is a video of me back in May 2006:
