Only 4 review on Fury?
« on: February 26, 2007, 05:31:48 PM »
Guys, if you owned the Fury please make some comment on it. I know its just  recently released, but come on, this ball is supposedly a 'hot' stuff and there might be some of you who can comment on this ball.

Btw, which ball is better on heavy oil with lots of carrydown? Strike zone or Fury?

if u call the last review of 3 lines a "review" then i'll just tell u, it hooks and a lot. The last one by the user dmr2112 i just opened it, saw 3 lines and closed it since its pointless reading crap like hits like a truck, monster ball blabla

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!

The Fury with a comparable layout is about 4 boards stronger than the Strike Zone. With the proper layout, it handles carry down well.

The Fury is a very very strong ball. I don't have a lot of hand but this ball is sick. I am playing with the surface and now have it at 2000 abralon. It is drilled 4x3 with the pin a little above and to the right of the ring finger. Last night I maybe grazed the head pin and it struck. It also has been good at tripping the four pin on heavy hits. In box condition you need an oil slick. I like going up the second arrow and I will give it some more time but may take it up to 4000 abralon. I really like this new core and cover combnation. Brunswick has hit a grandslam with this one!!!!!!!!

basically ric you're talking about the "pin down hole down" drilling that's shown on your website, right ?

I dont waste my time with reviews because i do not bowl like anyone else from my knee injury. Everyone throws the ball different and bowls on different shots anyway, to me the review section is there but for what i do it is worthless.

Overall a  better ball than the Total NV, for me it is not close which ball i like better. Pin under ring finger 4 1/4 pin to pap and cg at 4 inches no weight hole, surface at 1000 and rough buffed.

My Fury is super strong as well. OOB, ball hooked at the arrows and burned up by the time it got to the dry. HIt it with 1000 Abralon then high gloss polidh and now it is a monster. Gets through the oil and make a hard turn on the back does not stop. Stronger than my Total by an arrow and Strike Zone by a couple of boards (even when polished). I only have about 2 games on it so I will not post an offical review on it yet. That will be in a couple of weeks once I get about 20-30 games on it and throw it on a couple of different conditions.

I own a fury, its drilled pin under bridge cg about 1/2 of grip center tword the pap. I like this ball it does exactly what they say it should. Strong mid lane but still have that back end pop, this is what i have been looking for. Iv noticed with some balls that are ment to be heavy oil balls, when playing deep, they dont have enough recovery to hit the pocket well and carry. Not so ture with this ball i can play deep and still have that strong reaction though the pins. Good job Brunswick !

i just got mine drilled today however i'm coming off a back strain. it'll be a month before i can give an honest assesment. my fury is 15.4 lbs. with 3.5oz of top weight. this is a pin out ball, appx. 2 1/8". i had the pin placed next to my ring finger and the cg was swung just enough towards the grip center to avoid a hole. i had the coverstock sanded finer from the factory 800 grit up to 2,000 grit abralon. thanks to bill smith of ams bowling supplies in independence, missouri, for the technical help. i'll send a full report as soon as i can.

I'll have my review up this weekend. I want to bowl on a couple of different shots first.
