red zone help

is the red zone a smooth arcing ball OOB and can it be used on heavy-mediums?

i had a red zone and mine was drilled fairly strong and reacted nothing like my vapor zone, everyone said it was supposed to be stronger. i tried many different surfaces and no luck, i sold mine.

My Red Zone is drilled 4 X 3 1/2. For me it is a smooth arcing ball with a little extra kick off the dry. It is stronger than my Vapor Zone.

I am bowling on what the lanes call heavy oil but I put it medium at best. I feel it would work on heavy-medium depending on your style.

thanks for the replies, so its a smooth-arcing polished ball OOB that can be used on medium-heavies with a bit of adjustment. also will it be able to be drilled stronger?

Mine in OOB condition was actually kind of flippy once it got to the dry. it's drilled 5 x 3 1/2, pin up, and it was actually a little touchy. took the cover down to 4000 abralon, that helped a ton, made it more of what you're talking...good hard arc to the pocket, not so touchy off the dry. anyway, let us know what you think of it! It's an excellent ball, even if you do have to play with the cover a bit.
