Fury with a short pin
« on: March 04, 2007, 03:44:37 AM »
Have a chance to get a Fury, with a 1" pin for a very good price. I am higher speed and about medium revs, wondering how this ball might work for me. I am used to having balls drilled under the ring finger, but left in box condition, is this ball really going to burn up too early?

Ric, it is 4 3/4 over and up a 1/4. Thanks for the response. I have a few friends with them, and they are amazed at how strong the ball is in box condition.

Thanks, Ric. Sounds like that will work well.

Dan
As far as i know, the balls you've had the most success with have been pin under bridge anyway haven't they?

I don't think with your speed it would burn up on you. i've thrown kevin's and dave's, and it seems cleaner through the fronts than you might expect. go for it dan!

ps.-mine will be in on wednesday!

a friend of mine ordered a fury from bowlingball.com and not knowing any better, did not specify pin or top.  he received a ball that looks like a 1/4" pin at most.  never seen such a thing before.  it got a good laugh during our pba league last night.  my friend is going to try to return it today for a more reasonable pin.
