fury pearl or twisted?
« on: December 30, 2007, 12:10:26 PM »
so i had my heart set on the black widow bite, but thought about it and wanted to try something different because i already have a BW Solid. was thinking the fury line. brunswick and hammer have never done me wrong so mid as well stick with them. so i was wondering which would be the most all around ball? i want to use it when the lanes are fresh to breaking down. something i can predict too. something for the medium conditions you know?

you want to know what is low sir,  ask those people in Michigan who lost their jobs.   so Brunswick could used workers from Mexico to make their balls, and make way more profit, then when hard working American's use to make their balls

you know hard working American's like those that make balls in Kentucky.

so get off your high horse.
and stop following me from thread to thread,  that's stalking!!!!

and if you don't like the fact that i as well as many pro shops in this country don't like the fact that at Christmas Time, these balls where dumped online, well that's too bad.

maybe if a small pro shop like mine, stop ordering, lets say 20 balls a month from brunswick, and a 100 more small pro shops stop ordering 20 balls a month from Brunswick and then maybe another 100 small pro shops stop ordering 20 balls amonth from brunswick,  lets see,  do you think Brunswick may notice that.

maybe that is what i will do,  not reorder any Brunswick ball this jan.

of course one little pro shop not ordering 20 balls.  no big deal.

but what if??? what if??? what if??? a 100, or 200 small pro shops who are sick and tired of the way certain ball companies do business, decide to stop ordering 20 balls a month,

that's  lets see,  carry the one,  4000 balls a month.

do you think they would notice that,

Once again, I am not  stalking. I understand what your talking about...probably more than  you think I do. I just don't understand why the discussions have to get personal, thats all. Remember the Alamo? Considering where I live, I remember it very well..............

sir,  why not show that same concern to all the little pro shops who at Christmas time stocked up on Brunswick balls.
btw, that means in Nov.  and bought these Fury's at full price,  and then they find out a few weeks later,  their now online for $109 or $99.

are you going to tell me that big B, doesnot know that pro shops start stocking up on msde. in Nov.  for Christmas???
or do you think we start stocking up for Christmas on dec. 24th???

so many shops probably wanted to be sure then had some on hand, and maybe order a case, at 126-128 dollars a ball.  and then a few weeks later, pow
right up the butt. online for $109 or $99.

i hope pro shops see this post and pass it on to their fellow pro shops.

i think i will not order any balls from them this month.  that may be about 20-30>>>> that of course is no big deal.
what if, what if, what if, other pro shops decide to do the same thing?????

do you think BIG B. will notice that.

From what I know, Brunswick moved from Michigan to Mexico because of the Labor Union wanting ridiculous pay increases. If you had a business mindset, you would've made the move too.

here is another example of some over paid poor excuse for a human.

what if the company that pays your overpriced salary felt that way, and you lost your job.
TELL ME, WHAT WOULD YOUR MIND SET BE!!!!!!

but its ok,  cause it wasn't you this time, it was the poor people in Michigan.

news flash>>>>  i out of every 5 IBM employee's, not work out of this country.

what you don't realize is that first it was the auto ind.  then clothing and shoes, factory jobs that left.  guess whats next >>>>

your job.  this is the age of computor's.
some person in India or China or some other place will be doing your job on a  computor next.  and for a lot less money.

hows that for a buisiness mindset!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps,  your probaly on BIG B> payroll>>> right?

watch your back. if a Mexican can make bowling balls, then i am sure they can make sure the copy machine has paper in it, as well as the restrooms!!!!!

on the payroll sir,  they pay you in paso's or dollar's.

I'm not on anyones payroll, how you came to that conclusion I'm not sure. Brunswick "pays" me by making great equipment that I use to make money on the lanes.

maybe the fact was that certain dist,  Ran to their online dealers first,  before offering the balls to pro shops!!!!

Again how is this Brunswicks fault. Sounds like a problem with the distributor to me. Why don't you call them and complain with your whiny attitude?

like i told Ric,  they closed their plant in Michigan,  and now have Mexican's making their balls,  so if Mexican's can make bowling balls,  i'll bet Brunswick can get them to do your job also,  and for less money.

watch your back,

and btw,  people who are from Mexico, are known as Mexican's  so don't start your racist crap.

Now your calling me a racist, sounds like slander to me. Maybe you should start watching what your typing.

Lastly would you please drop the whole Americans lost jobs to a foreign country crap. It happens everyday. Have you ever called for tech support for an electronic you just bought, good luck understanding what their saying. I lost my job because the work I was doing went overseas. I didn't sit around crying about it, I went back to school and now make more than what I did at my old job. Get over it already

If you believe that Big B. does not or did not know exactly who they where selling too, and who they where going to sell too,  then i have bridge i would like to sell you.
and second, i did not call you a racist,  i said, if you can read, don't start that racist  stuff with me, which means, don't call me one cause i said tacos!!!

ok

and i am glad things worked out for you in your new job.

and your right,  it happens everyday.  sad but true.
but that does not mean we have to like it.
now ever since their move,  i have still stock and sold their balls.  i understood what they did and why,  didn't like it, but as you say, it happens everyday.
but my point is not where they are made,  but the way they do business. you probably are not in retail, but try to understand,  shops start stocking up for Christmas sales in early Nov.  at that time, these balls where not selling for $109 online!!!!   now if shops bought these Fury's at full price, cause they did not know in early Nov. of this closeout, to me, that is bad timing by Brunswick,  Brunswick knows shops start stocking up.

now i am sorry that you don't care, but realize this,  i don't care that you don't care!!!!! ok

and i have the right to tell it as it is,  it was bad timing!!!!!
if you don't like that,  so sad too bad!!!!!

but from the many pro shops i have talked to in the last few days,  they seem to care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ok with you!!!!!

again,  if not, i still don't care,  ok

what you and so many people on this site don't understand  is this,  your able to buy balls online for basically the same price pro shops do.  which means,  we bascially are working for nothing.  do you go to work and work for nothing.
no no, not with your mouth,  you would be the first up in arms!!!

but you could care less that hard working pro shops have to deal with this everyday,  and for about the last 7-10 years.
you have clearly shown with your twobit lowlife attitude, how you don't care that workers for Brunswick lost their jobs.  "get over it."

i don't know what you do, but remember this boy!!!! 1 out of 5 IBM employees work overseas.  guess what,  people overseas, don't just work in sweat shops anymore.  they now know how to make bowling balls and work on computors.

and they do it for  less pay,   you getting the picture here!!!!!!

first is was tv's and auto, then factory jobs,  you office types, could care less,  cause you still had you office jobs,  guess what,  your office jobs are next!!!!!!! some guy in india or China is being trained as we speak, to take over these office jobs you coffee drinking geeks have now.

and when you and others lose your job's to overseas,  maybe you will show some compassion for others.  cause you sure don't seem to care now, even after you lost one job.

all people on this site seem to care about is buying a ball for as cheap as possible.  and now that you have had a study diet of these low prices, at the expense of pro shops,  you seem upset, that maybe you coffee drinking geeks might have to pay a few bucks more now.

well might as well blame us pro shops, after all, we are all bandits, over charging for balls and drilling.

in closing sir

If you believe that Big B. does not or did not know exactly who they where selling too, and who they where going to sell too,  then i have bridge i would like to sell you.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, it does. The more you open your mouth the dumber the words become. You mean to tell me that if someone came into your shop to buy 10 balls you would tell them no because the timing wasn't right or because you didn't agree with how they were going to use them. Now increase that number to 500, 1000 or 2000. If you say no then I say your full of it. How about the car companies that put the car you just bought 2 weeks ago on rebate AFTER you bought it, I guess they have bad business practices too.

and second, i did not call you a racist,  i said, if you can read, don't start that racist  stuff with me, which means, don't call me one cause i said tacos!!!
You said don't start YOUR racist crap in a post that you quoted me. That single word points to ME. Learn how to word yourself properly.

ok

and i am glad things worked out for you in your new job.

Read what I said above, every company that puts something on sale or closeout after you paid full price for it must be in bad business practices I guess

now i am sorry that you don't care, but realize this,  i don't care that you don't care!!!!! ok

and i have the right to tell it as it is,  it was bad timing!!!!!

sir
i believe our ball count was about 2000 balls this year,  so should we reduce next years order by 2?

maybe to make up  for the lost sales from your two friends, jls can run a special.  6 taco's with every ball sold.

interesting
