Sanded Raging Inferno
« on: September 22, 2003, 04:00:21 PM »
Has anybody tried to sand a Raging? With Trizac or sand paper,
what grit, what results?
Last day, I played a 42ft, REAL med-heavy pattern on synthetic.
Med rev, med speed, medium track, playing 2d arrow down and in.
I rolled both the Inferno's, original(50 games on it) and Raging(5 games on it), both factory finish. I obtained a  very similar reaction with the 2 balls,
maybe the Raging 1-2 boards stronger than the Inferno. They didn't roll out.
I'm afraid that, if I had to play a real heavy pattern, the Raging in box
finish condition wouldn't be strong enough. So, my thought about sanding.
Am I wrong? What are your experiences or opinions?
Thank you for reading

My raging has been hit with green scotch brite pad and then 1000 ebonite quick sand. ball is nice and smooth.
