what are the differences between the 4 infernos?

I was looking to get a brunswick ball to replace my Ebonite Gyro. The inferno line caught my eye. Although I don't know which inferno I would need.

I am looking for an inferno that will match up well to medium oil and have a pretty strong backend reaction to it.

which inferno should I consider?

I really don't know any of those stats.

I'd say low to medium revs, medium ball speed, not a straight player, yet not a cranker.  maybe a stroker or tweener probably more towards being a stroker than a tweener.

hope that makes sense.

I am going to have a coach watch me bowl and maybe they can tell me some of that.

That depends on which of the 7 or 18 Gyros that were made that you have: urethane or resin, 2 piece core or pancake core, pearl or solid OR ______ ?

The original strongest backend on medium oil for most people; it is a very strong pearl. used on the wrong oil pattern or thrown badly or carelessly, it can seem uncontrollable or over/under. Used correctly, with a little thought, it is one of the hardest hitting, best carrying balls made today.

My Gyro is a urethane one. which core it has I don't know. Its an old ball, 13+ years old.

My Gyro reacts decent on the backend, was just looking for some more of that.

I'm not ttrying to be a smart ase, but anything made today other than the very entry level uerethans and plastics will outhook that Gyro...

Not matter which one you decide on be prepared to move left on your shot and play a little more across the boards if you are getting pretty decent reaction from an old urethane ball.  You'll learn to really like the new technology

I just bought an ebonite predator pursuit 3 weeks ago, and I had to move 6 boards left of where i usually stand when i throw the gyro.

I'll look into the original inferno or the blazing inferno, the raging and ultimate might be too much eventhough I did see a guy using a raging inferno during a tournament was in and it wasn't hooking that much more than my gyro.

maybe its cause the tournament was right after leagues, who knows?
