tweaking coverstock
« on: August 19, 2003, 09:50:09 PM »
What is the general rule of thumb about tweaking coverstock?  Dull vs. polished...pros and cons?  What's up with that?

Star Wars rules,
I love golf and basketball,
I'm just starting bowling,
I feel addicted already,
Is there help available?

it will depend upon the lane conditions you are bowling on---not to mention your style. generally speaking oilier lanes require a ball with a less shiny surface, sometimes even dull. dry lanes will usually need a lot more polish for length. trial and error on your part will see what you need.
