Chemical To Take Polish Off?
« on: September 30, 2005, 01:42:56 AM »
i bought an absolute inferno on ebay used and there is polish on the coverstock.
i tried using it on out long med/oily pattern and it skids further than i'd like.
is there something i can use to take off the polish.

any tips for getting polish out of the serial number?

thanks!

I use Surgical Spirits to clean off any dirt and gunk works great, and does no damage.

Use Windex and denatured alcohol. You can get it an any Lowe's or Home Depot, $5 for a quart.

what is in the Brunswick Remove All Cleaner?
i use it, and its really good at getting the belt marks out along with oil.
it costs $6 for a little spray bottle.
i was amaised at how much crap came out of my Absolute after 3 games.

Ric what is the ratio of Acetone to Windex that you use?

it must be put in a metal container correct?

    thanks!
