Edit: I guess we need a lil story....

Customer came in wanting to drill it. He never really bowls, just recreates with his daughter. Anywhooo, told him I'd trade him for a ball in the shop, and he said sure. Took at Pro Stock Pearl and we both lived happily ever after.

Nick I think thats only the 3rd Sapphire Pearl I've seen.  I saw one on ebay a while back, and PB3 threw one on an old telecast.  That picture sure makes it look good and I bet it rolls just as nice.

The guy was pretty nice, he chose the ball he wanted. I told him he could have anything from the midline down, and the PSP would be as close to the SZP as possible.

As far as price... why don't we put it up on eBay and see...

I used to have one of those. I had a love/hate relationship with it. On the right condition, it was unstoppable(8 game sweeper, averaged 240+ on a tough-carrying condition(easy pocket, tough carry), with a 300 mixed in). However, I only found the right conditions once(that one time more than paid for the ball) and sold it after a couple seasons of frustration. The guy I sold it to had his first 700 with it(against my team, knocking us out of the rolloffs), I think he still has it.
 I only saw a couple of these ever being thrown. The guys I talked to said it was extremely condition-specific for them, too.

I had a couple of those back in the day.  Man did that ball hook.  It had some serious back end.  Practically broke pins, but I had to have some oil.  It would be a great medium to some dry lane ball today.
