Plum Pearl Power Groove, Anyone?
« on: September 11, 2003, 12:37:56 PM »
Has anyone out there thrown the Plum Pearl proactive Power Groove?  If so, how does it compare/contrast with other Brunswick particle balls, and with the reactive Power Grooves?

As always, thanks in advance.

I've got one and honestly it's not typical power groove for sure.
this ball does hook and can recover. i have it wetsanded to 1000 because it's a terrible ball polished. i use it to play on med house shots on wood lanes because it blends the light oil shots better , avoiding the over reaction as it finds the dry. and it can hit too.

A friend who is on my collegiate team throws one and he loves it.  He's lefty, not sure of the drilling or anything but he destroys the lanes with it.  Shot 2 300's in 12 games of matchplay a couple weeks ago.  I think he averaged 245 for the day, not too bad.
