Help with Swarm Layout
« on: July 10, 2008, 10:30:05 PM »
Here's what I'm looking for. My home house is medium oil in the winter, this summer it is playing very dry, 36ft house pattern.  I want to drill the Swarm to play more up the boards. Which is the way all the house hacks score well, straight up five. I've been too stubborn and wanted to play more in the middle.
 PAP over 5 up 1/2
315 Rev Rate (Kats measured)
15-17 mph
Sorry I don't know my exact axis tilt.
Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'd go around 5 1/2 inches to PAP with a smaller pin buffer for some kick on the back (around 2 inches)

I'd suggest 4 1/2" to 5" from your PAP below the fingers. The ball gets down the lane easily, so if you go too far, you might have a "dry lane" only ball. Remember that the core is medium RG and the cover is high gloss, both of which make pushing down the lane less effort.
