In the near future ... (Smoking vs Intense)
« on: July 07, 2005, 06:28:02 AM »
when we have a whole bunch of people throwing the new Smoking Inferno, I wonder how it will ultimately, bottom line-wise, compare to the Intense Inferno?

Regarding: Amount of oil handled and amount and type of hook.

The coverstock tweak will make a difference, but without seeing a rendering of the core i'm not sure how much of a part that will play as well.  It's RG isn't as high as the II so I'd imagine the core isn't as tall/skinny.

...and the Blazing core was just the original Inferno core, albeit inverted, and with the densities changed.

Of course, there's no need to keep the stock cover treatment on the Intense, if it does not do what you need. A little surface, like 2000 grit, can still do wonders, even on an Intense.

Saw Rick Benoit tonight, and what he had to say regarding it was that it would be the cleanest at the breakpoint of all the Infernos.

They'll both inflate egos nation wide as house shots become easier and bowling balls become stronger off the breakpoint.

They both are very nice looking though, respectively.
