BVP Ambush VIDEO (No bells or whistles, just high def!)
« on: April 16, 2006, 07:00:02 PM »
www.brunsnick.com/ambush.avi
90 MB AVI FILE

Smaller file can be found here:

www.brunsnick.com/ambush-18mb.mpg
18 MB MPG FILE

Still getting used to the new camera and software, haven't had a chance to really explore the power of Adobe. If for some reason you have problems viewing this movie, please click this:

http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/mpeg/decoder/EMPG2_Dec_Strm_Pack_3_0.zip
That should solve your codec problems.

Download divx or an AVI codec. Search them on google.

I think in order to view the video the way it is compressed, it needs certain codecs that may not come standard. On my laptop, I had no problems. On my PC, the bigger file is fine, but I needed the codec pack from the link I posted to view the smaller file.

Definately use google, it'll work itself out.

Video looks great although I didn't like the download times either.  How about a pic of the layout on the ambush.

I'm pretty positive I'll shoot 300... just not sure when.

I was able to view the vid just fine on a Mac using two different ways.
1.  Install Flip4Mac [http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm] (it's free).  This will allow you to watch wmv files and other formats directly in Quicktime.  Microsoft is going to stop supporting Window Media Player on a Mac and they actually encourage people to install this plug-in.

2   Install VLC [http://www.videolan.org] (it's free).  This is a great free video player for Linux/Mac/Windows PC.

Hope that helps.
