Problems With 15# Balls
« on: August 15, 2005, 03:15:36 AM »
6 months ago i started to switch my arsenal from 16# to 15# and i felt like i had greater control with the 15# balls, i started switching with my inferno.

ive been working out at the gym a lot in the past 4 months and have noticed when i bowl that im throwing the ball faster and tourquing the ball much harder.
i have to tell myself to slow down much more than when i had 16# equipment.
the 16# equipment felt heavier last season towards the 3rd game of a set

im having breakpoint problems, and im unsure if it is the increased strength i have from the gym, change in ball weight, fresh body from the offseason or all of the above?

what can i do to be more consistent with my shots?
i typically shoot between 2nd & 3rd arrow with my 15# inferno

It's likely to be all of the above. In did the same thing and actually made strides with the switch. It's all practive and patience. There's no magic solution.

I would say to just be patient with it and your results will come.  Accuracy comes with the practice that you put in and I believe all three are a cause for your increased ball speed.  Remember to slow down and all will work out in the end.
