Help Identifying a Zone
« on: February 18, 2004, 10:04:10 PM »
Another guy after league let me throw his ball a couple of times and it was really impressive.  The only identifying marks are it were the Z for zone and the word zone.  It was entirely black.  Unfortunately, I have no idea what kind of zone it is.  Anyone have any help on this one?  Sorry for the lack of info, but the ball really had nothing on it.  I know it was not a target or anything, because the thing flat out hooked.  And there were no rubbed off markings that would say HPC or anything like that.  It looked like the only factory markings were the Z and zone, and the pin.  Thanks for the help.  Also, he said it was something like 10 years old.

My guess would be the original Danger Zone.

What color was the pin, and what colors were the logos?

Logos were yellow I think.  Pin was white(?)  I am pretty sure on the logos, the pin I might be wrong on.

My guess is the original Danger Zone also.  I have one & it still is my primary ball----for now.  Alot of people think this was the best Zone made (out what, like 50 or something versions?).  Mine hooks quite a bit and can be altered pretty dramatically with polish or scotch brites

Almost forgot ---- the only markings on mine are the Z and Zone (and Brunswick's logo).  The markings in mine are white and a red pin

i had a couple of sapphire blue zones and their color did vary. one was a dark navy blue---almost black. the other one was more of a royal blue. both had yellow pins and logos though.
