I can't decide how to drill it. My current equipment, with drill patterns, are in my profile. I want to have the particle aggressiveness in carrydown without the ball burning up in the midlane. I really like my HPD but even finely sanded it is too much in the mids. I believe these two share the same cover but don't quote me on that. I was thinking pin over bridge, cg kicked out no more than an inch. That should give me good length and nice backend.

On a side note, I drilled a Golden Nugget for a friend, he likes it alot. I threw it a couple of times and that thing pops on the back. I set it up cg leverage (4 3/8 by 3 3/8). Amazing backend, both the nugget and shockzone are polished particle. I wonder if they would be close......

Any suggestions are welcome,

Andrew, I had a shock zone but I am a full roller with 14 mph ball speed and 90 degree axis rotation. Mine was drilled 4&1/2" Pin to nap. On amedium oil league shot I would stand on 28(right foot) shoot 12&1/2. Ball had great backend and carry as long as the shot held up. Ball recovered well from inside angles also. Shot a couple of 700's with this layout. Hope this helps.

-P.S. I also had a HPD drilled leverage and it was too much for me also. Mostly sits in the corner gathering dust.-------------------

Way weaker in the heads and mids than the HPD.

More backend on dry!!!
