Fury Help?
« on: March 01, 2007, 03:12:56 PM »
All worked up and cant sleep. Please help. Stoker w/ low revs picked up a fury Wednesday had league tonight. Lanes were heavy oil.  Drilling looks to be the 2E (pin under ring with the H kicked out about 1 inch and with weight hole set in the increased flare position. The track seemed to be from the bottom of the F in fury to the bottom of the B close to the middle finger grip. The ball had little flare and almost no hook. Left several 7 pins.  I will be talking with my pro shop, but wanted extra advice. Thanks

box finish??? Pin down and flare increasing hole should be set up correctly if the driller really uses your true pap ???

These ball flats out hooks for me and i am medium lower revs and speed dominate, your profile shows you are a newer bowler are you sure that you are below the equator when releasing the ball???

No ball will hook if you do not get it into a true roll on heavier oil, i have fought this problem for 6 years from a screwed up left knee. Staying under the ball and getting the weight block to start is sometimes a problwm for many bowlers that are newer.
