How much stronger are we talkin?

I called my proshop today and requested a preorder for the Absolute.  I am going to replace my OI with the Absolute.  

I had the Intense and the overall hook was about the same, just different ways to getting there.  My OI is skid/flip, my II was arcy.  That seems to be different than what others have saw between the two.  My OI is drilled flippy, my II was drilled arcy.  Both balls hated carrydown, but I don't use my OI unless I am looking for a big boom on the backend, like when the lanes really open up.

Once I drill one, I will post a review between the two.  I will drill the AI the same as the OI.

If the overall hook is only alittle different, which I believe it will be, then I will be satisfied.

BTW, I love what Brunswick did with this one; keeping the OI core with a different coverstock was a great idea, hopefully it works out that way.

REALLY?! My inferno is one of the most angular balls I've ever owned.  Ric, you just sold me on the Absolute.

The retired/senior division is at the Orleans, the active division is at the Gold Coast.

I'll be at the Orleans on Jan 29th and 30th for the Brunswick Coca Cola Classic collegiate tournament.  I know some of my teammates are talking about staying out there for the rollers also, but don't think i can afford to miss that much school.  Anyone that might be in LV and wana see some good team bowling check us out.

Oh and to get back on topic, I think I'm gona look into getting an Absolute as well.  I got a zone classic to replace my inferno and I think it's just too strong for what I see.  It rolls awesome and I love its versatility, but the set reaction I get hasen't matched up well for me I don't think.  The drilling I'm sure could be different, but i really wana try the Activator+ coverstock so we'll see.  If i get it I'll be sure to ask for advice with it.  I could see it blowing up like the Inferno did 2 years ago at the rollers.
