Impulse is one swell bowling ball, super in fact
« on: January 25, 2006, 03:04:23 PM »
Well I got an Impulse Zone in September, to fit between my ultimate and absolute, didn't have any particle in my arsenal either.  Wanted it to be pretty even without the set up backend that my classic has.  So i drilled it pin under the bridge, cg below, mb under and just left of my thumb.  BALL NEVER MOVED.  This thing just rolled and rolled, but never actually hooked.  I even tried selling it on here but didn't get a decent sale, so it's been in the garage since.

My roomate took it to the shop to play with it a bit and he thought a hole might work.  So he weighs it and says it has no finger weight.  Bing.  So he puts a 1inch wide, 2 inches deep hole to take some thumb weight out.  BALL ROLLS AWESOME.
He shined it up a little to keep it cleaner through the front.
720 last night in league and 740 tonight.  279 1st game, both sets.  I had way too much room, almost unfair.  This might be THE control ball i've been looking for.

If you're lookin for a low load particle I think this is the impulse buy u need.
