Impulse Zone drilling options
« on: July 09, 2006, 02:36:36 PM »
hey everyone, i just got a new impulse zone and was thinking of how to drill it. I  want a smoother reaction out of it, which is kinda what the ball does in the first place, but i would like to use it to play straighter up the boards on a shorter pattern, or in the middle of the lane on a medium length pattern. I was thinking of drilling it RICO, which my ultimate is drilled like, but i was just thinking if that drilling would cause it to lose too much energy. If not that, I was also thinking pin under bridge.....what are your thoughts. my arsenal now is as follows:

ultimate inferno (drilled rico)
vapor zone (pin over ring, MB in strong position)
Ebonite V2 Power (polished) (pin below ring, CG stacked below)
zone classic (pin above bridge, MB in strong position)
Ebonite Ice (pin over bridge, CG stacked below)

thanks.

dave
