found a dz black ice, any use redrilling?
« on: February 11, 2006, 05:10:36 AM »
hello,

I found a Danger Zone Black Ice that I can possibly use, but since I'm running low on money, is it worth redrilling again?
I'm guessing its 16 pounds most likely and I'm using 15 currently.
Any help from people who've seen/used it would be greatly appreciated

Mine carries suprisingly well. Drilled 5&3/4" pin to pap with a 135 degree
backend. I use it on short oil as the center I bowl in only does the heads before evening leagues. This layout requires some dry boards to hit well. If I drill another one it will have a 25 degree backend. Stinger low flare core carries well for me. If I remember correctly there is a difference in differentials between 15&16 lb. balls(check the ebonite website.)

I use mine for the third game in Leagues.  It is drilled Pin 3 3/8" from PAP, CG in Palm "Label Leverage" 1:30 drilling.  It gets through the heads very easy and explodes the rack.  I havehad it for years and it still performs well.

Manu, what's the backend reaction like?
