Title: Inferno Vs Danger Zone
Post by: Next Level PS on November 18, 2003, 06:35:32 PM
Will the inferno become a legendary ball as the Danger Zone. Can some of you guys give the comparasion on the two and give a opinion on which may be best overall.

Let me see. Which one is best? Both.
My Danger Zone and my Inferno probably cover close to the same number of boards, which is to say a LOT.
However, the Danger Zone is much more even arcing, and the inferno just loves to go long and snap.
Are they both the best ball ever? Probably real close.

i doubt the inferno will receive the television exposure that the danger zone did. there were several commercials for the danger zone as well. the inferno didn't grab the market the way the danger zone did. that's ok. i've thrown both and as much as i liked the danger zone and the similar danger zone red alert i still think the inferno is a better ball. and very underrated as well.

different ball, different era, different oil, different oil patterns.

As good as the Inferno may be, it's just not as ground-breaking nor as different from all other balls, in the same way the DZ was. There are many, many great balls out now, mostly because there are so many and designers are bound to get good or get lucky with all the new technology currently available.

The Inferno has a different cover (stronger), lower RG, much more differential, than the DZ.
