Brunswick has lost my interest...... I have had too many duds.  The final straw was the Quantums.  They should have given me a free bowl of soup instead of a bag with that thing.

If u put a 2000 finish on the Kingpin Max and same drilling as the Rule, u will not see a measurable differance. Brunswick is becoming Storm ( sales slow on a ball, release the same ball different name) I know it has supposably a differant cover, but it is not noticeable on the lanes ( still a reactive cover).

Perception is reality when it comes to customers spending their hard earned money...

Or get a Katana Dragon instead for $100 at Buddies.  Most people (at least on here) learn pretty quick not to pay full price for Big B stuff at launch.

Or just go to ebay and get the new releases for under 100 shipped, Big B stuff is a joke to ever pay full price for, and it makes it impossible for any pro shop to stock their stuff

Brunswick and Ebonite produced stuff DOES depreciate faster than a Nissan Leaf. It makes no sense, as their equipment is just as good as the Utah and Michigan produced balls(Unlike a Nissan).

Perhaps the reason is they have more production capacity and need to keep those employees busy resulting in over production.

Even when the Big B has to discount there stuff, they still make a profit I'm sure, just not the profit they make when they first get released to the suckers wanting the New Now. All brunswick stuff is good, just gets flooded pretty quickly and everyone is correct, just wait 3-4 months and you'll get a good discount.

What I find a bit odd is, if they can still turn profits with discounting their stuff to half the price, then why did they move in the first place. They complained they were losing money, so they move to Mexico, and then discount their products...

Almost looks desperate for sales and lack of confidence in their product when the prices drop so quickly. They give off the perception that they are peddling a common commodity versus a uniquely designed piece of R&D.

I don't even know why DV8 is around anymore, people still buy it?

Mexico production I bet does make a huge difference on production cost.  So far no complaints on quality but only bought the Quantums (Green good on flood I rarely see, red and black are fine but nothing wow about them for me) and a few Radical balls which are too strong to use on house shot.  Still think PK18 and Activator are better for house shot so own more of their old stuff now.  DV8 makes some decent asym pearls (Creed is decent at least) but yeah that branding is as Luke said seems to be for some 20 something guy living in his mom's basement.

Cost of building the new facility. They're still likely making more now than they did back then on a per ball basis.
