Title: It is DRILL TIME!!

So I've been toying around with the fingertip equipment these past 10 days, and I'm starting to develope a feel for it. The ring finger feels good enough, and after shooting 975 with the Power Groove, it sealed the deal for me.... so I'm gonna drill up another ball.


Pick a ball, any ball in the Brunswick Lineup and I'll punch it before league tonight!

My options are almost limitless! What I have now is:

Demolition Zone
P. Groove Yel/Chr

Hmmm... could be an idea. Both of those are drilled pin down with an x-hole. I don't think I'd drill the Smokin' pin up, doesn't need any help getting down the lane!

Hey Nick, make it a Scorchin, span 4 5/8 middle and 4 1/2 ring, grips and slug. Pin over ring. Then send it to me, because it will not fit you.

I've narrowed it down to a Nemesis pin up, hole down...

And an Ambush, same layouts.

I have both with 4" pins and lower tops.

My vote is for the Ambush, want one of those almost as bad as a Scorchin. Ball hooks a ton.

Nemesis is complement the Groove, I'd go pin down on it though.

Hey Nick what happened to all the dozens of balls you had drilled finger tipped before you went to the sarge grip what did u do with all of those? Can you not bring a few out of retirement?

as many videos as you made, havent seen one with a nemesis(could be wrong)-it happened once back in 93 i believe

lots of people think it was a diamond in the rough

would like to see

pin under ring finger(about an 1/2 inch) and cg kicked about inch right of mid(by thumb)(with a hole in lower quad) (say a 3-4 pin)

I  think a strike zone pin up with a touch of polish,smooth ,long and very strong!!

Go with something with some angle, the fire Quantum?  Maybe drill it with a high pin 5"+ above mid, but close to the val.  Should complement the PG well.

I already voted for the Ambush. Hope you go that direction as I have not seen many thrown and have been really wanting one. Summer league is giving them away so I won't have one for like three months. Seeing a video for it will keep me satisfied for awile.

Couldn't go with a hole down on the VAL, had 3/4 oz finger. Even drilling the middle finger deep didn't help enough, so I went with the flare-reducing.

Rolls good so far, really mixes the pins up.

I tried to give you some spice, to have you drill an interesting piece, but no.  Plain old BVP Ambush, (close to tears), I thought the options were limitless, but I guess..... (sobbing uncontrollably)
  Seriously its a great ball, I'm just wondering, judging by the specs on the demolition, and it being said to be so smooth, isn't there some overlap?

Thats interesting, where can you find a demolition zone, do you have any 16lbers, if the price is right I would buy one to try out.
Just curious, but why the switch back to full finger tip? Do you feel you get better roll, that your more accurate, or that the grip is more versitile?

Dude that would take all the fun out o' it.  Plus judging by the specs, the demolition should be a bit stronger @ the same grit.  
   Another thing, I just took a look at the ambush vid, and while good, its a bit blurry, how a bout a remake

I feel like I can get around the side of it better. Ever since using the Sarge grip, I find it harder to play inside angles around the 4th-5th arrow.
