just got one of these and wanted some info on it. mainly the core but also what cover it had. saw on 123bowl.com it was in the zone pro line. .(https://www.ballreviews.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F123bowl.com%2F123bowl%2Fcache%2Ffile%2FC310E9F2-AC5E-5932-54A242DC1AF790DA.jpg&hash=0f40334ecae23ec38583fa30af6d9d57077fc00d)

The JP Open Pro Am ball was made exclusively for the tournament. It used the same core as the Red Alert Zone and a unique Proactive coverstock that featured a light load of Proactive Particles in the PowerKoil 18 (Danger Zone) base coverstock. This combination produces a ball that was stronger overall than the Red Alert with a slightly earlier roll and more even arc due to the Proactive coverstock. The light load proactive cover should also make the ball less sensitive to over-under reaction off the dry boards compared to the Red Alert.

Sounds like a heckuva gem and I bet it rolls sweet (PK18 proactive, score). First glance I thought look its Fred Flintstone's bowling ball lol. Nice find for sure.

they had it on reconditionedbowlingball.com for $75.
