Laying out another strike zone
« on: August 31, 2005, 03:15:40 AM »
I have a strike zone which I like alot.  It is drilled w/ 4in. pin to pap and aprox 2in. above midline.  The mass bias is in the strong position (kicked out about an inch).  I have an impulse which I like, drilled the same.  For me however the impulse is not a great compliment to the strike (both same grit) as it tends to be cleaner through the heads with less midlane, a sort of skid arc reaction.  I plan on getting another classic drilled 4 1/2 in pin to pap w pin 3+ above midline and mb in strong position.  What drilling on a strike, which I plan to take to either 2000 grit or apply storm xtra shine to, would fit well between the classic and the strike I have.
