When I got mine, I tried it 3 different times and hated the reaction so I had it polished. Since then my average is up to 225. The ball goes long and turns hard with excellent carry. I am not sure how it compares to the out of the box conditions because I only used it in the afternoon before the lanes were oiled, but I couldn't imagine a better ball or surface for the shot I want to throw.
