Fury question
« on: July 25, 2007, 02:01:53 PM »
Hi I have a Fury in OOB and I used it for medium to heavy condition. It is drilled cg leverage. I was thinking of getting another Fury for medium to medium dry, should I;
a)drilled it weak ? or
b)drilled it the same but change the surface ? or
c)wait for the Fury Pearl and drilled same as my first Fury ?

All suggestions are welcome, thanks !!

Actually, you could do either. I've got two Furys, one drilled pin above the fingers and no balance hole that I polish (1000 abralon then Rough Buff) and it gets down the lane real easy.  You'll be surprised how shiny this ball looks with good old Rough Buff. I play the same line as my shiny Red Zone, basically.

On most house conditions it carries better than my dull, more aggressive Fury that I play deeper on the lane with.  The pearl Fury should go long and turn sharp, so use your best judgement as to which will match up with your release and ball speed, etc.

True enough.  I took my Fury down to 600 smooth and applied a coat of Rough Buff, and I can stay with it even during the hard transitions we see in our league.  With the Rough Buff, it's nice and clean in front, but it reads the dry better than when I had the Factory Finish polish on it.

Given the cover versatility of the Fury and the Total Inferno, I'm wondering how and where I'll fit the Fury Pearl in the arsenal.
