True Motion

Has anybody gotten an early look at one yet? I'm liking the core numbers for this one, 2.52 RG and .035 differential. Then there's the DynamiCore feature that I assume is similar to HyperShock from Columbia 300. Not sure if it makes a difference, but hey it's something.

Anyways, I think it's time for me to finally get a urethane to play around with (need not a factor here). There seems to be some interesting options out there right now. Just wondering where the hype for this one is.

Get yourself a Visionary Crow.  Have a ton urethane and its the best of the bunch on THS.  Only thing even close is my Sumo.
Kind of noob when made this account so take advice with grain of salt.

Not really looking for one of the stronger urethane options. The upcoming Black Widow urethane catches my eye, but ultimately I'm probably going with something tamer. Otherwise yeah I'd probably order up a Crow with no regrets. Although I much prefer ordering through the pro shop I go to. Not sure if their supplier gets Visionary in.

The other ball that has been catching my eye as far as a weaker piece is the Lord Field Old School over at BowlerX for $110 which is about the best price you can get for a true urethane ball.  Videos on that one look nice and I also like to try balls from different companies.  I suppose a Black or Purple Hammer or Pitch Black or Blue is the more mainstream choice.  Urethane is a blast to throw in general though and love throwing it especially when I practice so hard to go wrong.

Yeah, my want for urethane isn't based on need or thinking it's just what the ticket for higher scoring. More likely going the other way... :D. Just want to see what it can do. I've got that itch to buy something and I can't quite convince myself that any reactive really makes sense for a truly different reaction.

Anyways, including the True Motion and Black Widow Urethane (designated with that moniker until the real name is released) I think this is the current urethane market:

Boo-Yah!
True Motion
Black Hammer Urethane
Purple Pearl Urethane
Black Widow Urethane
Hot Cell
Pitch Black
Pitch Blue
Tank Rampage
The Crow
Old School

Sans those intended to be spare balls like the Bullseye, Mix, and Hyper Sniper. That's a lot of options.

That looks about right.  There is some other pseudo urethane like the new Blue Hammer and BTUs but that is about all of the new true urethane available.  Can probably get some of the urethanes that recently went out of stock NIB on Ebay like with the original Tank, the Natural, Karma, U2, etc.  Also you could could go the Ebay Faball or AMF route for old urethane as ball death isn't an issue.  Some of those choices are pearl urethane which is generally weaker but longer as I am sure you know.  None of the new ones are stinkers from what I know and so hard to go wrong.  I love urethane even though they match up terrible for my style.  Just something about the smell and how smooth they are.

You are looking forward to that ball aren't you?  At least unlike some other urethanes that one is being priced reasonably it looks like.
