Looking for Something more Continuous

O.k. Brunswick Heads, I am in a pickle. I currently have a Motiv Arsenal and I am trying to build a Brunswick Arsenal for a couple of upcoming tourneys. I currently own a Nexus Pink and Blue and a Wild Thing. I am looking for something which corners a little stronger than my Nexus. Looking at numbers and ball reviews I have narrowed it down to a Hell Raiser Revenge ( Currently in stock in my shop ), C - System maxxed -out and Nexxus F(P+R). I also have a Too Reckless but it's currently being sold because it so squirty to throw on anything here. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The shop has drilled two so far and for what our house is doing, the aura wiggled after the first game and had to be put up. One was layed out 5 1/2 X 4 1/2 to his PAP and it was taken to 2000 dull. The player is a power tweener and it was great for one game.

Some added info for this conversation, The house the shop is in 10 years AMF HPL's  with a 42' modified house pattern and massive Carrydown. So, That's why I haven't mentioned the Aura.

One of the mistakes many are making with the Aura is drilling it too weak...

Actually it was the customer's favorite layout. And most of the centers in San Antonio don't have fresh,popping back ends like most of you guys bowl on. There's a reason I picked the balls I mentioned. I really am looking for something the when it comes off the spot in the midlane, that it's goes sideways. I can always control my hand.

Favorite layout or not... the Aura can be drilled stronger than that and would result in a less condition specific piece. 

I went to the Aura/Meanstreak seminar and we were told that because of the additives in these balls (and the higher RG core in the Meanstreak) that many tour players were finding success with stronger layouts than they were accustomed to using.

Interesting to find that out since I never got to go to the seminar. I noticed the Brunswick guys are REALLY,REALLY high the Aura. But for the ball videos, I have it stuck in my head that the Hell Raiser Revenge looks stronger overall.

The Hellraiser Revenge would probably handle more oil at factory surface, HOWEVER, the Aura takes to surface changes well, and I agree that it should be drilled strong!
I remember from our initial conference call that some on tour had even tried it as dull as 500 and it still looked good. 

I have drilled several Revenges and they seem to handle good volume, so it's a tough choice.  I think you should buy them BOTH  ;).

I think you might be surprised at the Versa Max.  Even with a large volume of oil, still one of the most continuous balls I've thrown. Touch the cover 4000  play a little straighter and you wont have any prob with this ball finishing.

Also not sure how long you can wait  but Brunswick is coming  out with another coverstock they are calling a Bleeder coverstock and it's suppose to be the latest and greatest.

You can't go wrong with the choices you have picked. I would suggest doing a Nexxxus P+R. It is a pearl but don't let that full ya. Still very strong. Aslo, the Aura continues great but have to agree with the sronger layout. I have a higher rev rate and actually slightly rev dominant. I still drilled the Aura stronger than any other Brunswick to date. Had no problem with the ball getting though and cornering plenty hard.
DV8 also has a new one coming out called the Brutal Nightmare and from the videos looks like it has alot of pop downlane.
There will be new releases from Brunswick and that info will be released shortly.
Good luck with your choice, you can't go wrong with any one of those.

Thanks Adam. Since my ball speed (too fast) doesn't match my roll ( On the side) I tend to overshoot longer patterns (I.e) my 43 foot house shot especially when the carrydown starts. Thanks for the input
