A step below the Smokin Inferno would be???
« on: November 22, 2006, 04:43:28 AM »
I haven't used many Brunswick balls, mostly a Hammer guy, but
I've had some luck w/ the Smokin' Inferno on med-light oil.
I'm looking for something maybe a step below the SI for those
3rd game late leagues where the Smokin is just a bit much.

Suggestions????

Or if you can find one, a Blazing Inferno is the perfect compliment.

Blazing is Too Aggressive for Medium Light Oil. My Smokin the step down for my Blazing even both are drilled the same. I would try Ambush drilled weak which is good for my compliment for Smokin for Dry to Medium light lane.

Depends on how the lanes transition for you.  If the track breaks down in parallel lines, to where you can keep chasing the oil inside, you might want to give the Rampage a look, as it'll give you the recovery you'd want when you're forced to get your feet deep.  If, however, the fronts go first, and you have to circle the carrydown, you might want to consider a Power Groove Reactive, as it would be more likely to let you keep playing the same zone of the lane as the Smokin'.
