Bruiser finish?

Anyone recall the method for polish on this ball?
I know it was posted but my search didn't find the answer.

400 grit + High gloss polish (like their resin pearls) or
600 grit + rubbing compound or
something different?

High-gloss polish, which for Brunswick means 400-grit sanding followed by a healthy coat of their polish.

Yes.  Solid PK18, just like the Nemesis.  Only polished instead of dull and with a slightly lower-RG core.

I think it was compound, not polish.

The Fuze Igniter was compound finished.  A friend of mine has a Bruiser, it's definitely not a compound finish.

All of the printed Brunswick materials that I have state that the box finish on the Bruiser is 400 wet sand followed by High Gloss polish.

I had one at one time and that is the exact info that Brunswick sent me in an email.

I just wanted to be sure so I can't keep it at that level.
Based on appearances, it is highly shined polished; nowhere near a compound.

When the Bruiser came out, Brunswick was calling their factory polished finish "Rubbing Compound Double Buff" I believe (my drill sheet for the Time Zone says that on it, and the TZ and Bruiser came out around the same time). This is probably where the confusion is coming from.

I believe that Brunswick changed all of their product information to say "400 grit and High Gloss Polish" when they started selling their factory polish retail.

No, because there were several balls that said "Rubbing Compound Double Buff" like the Fuze Igniter.  The Raging Red Fuze said "Polished".  Now, they may have changed what "Polished" meant between then and the Bruiser, but I think there was always a difference between "Polished" and "RCDB".

Edit: You may be right.  Looking at the RRF sheet available on this site, there's nothing that says "polished", not even the Target Zones.
