For those that own a Melee Jab, tell me about it. Go!

For me it's been an absolute gem! I like to play straighter lines to start and it finishes HARD! I have a buddy who is a high rev guy so he plays way deeper and his breaks harder than anything else he has from other manufacturers. We both keep ours around 3000-ish on the surface.

Before league this week I drilled up a jab like my hyroad so I can use it when the lanes starts hooking too much. Didn't practice with it before league. Started with the hyroad and the lanes were tighter than usual. Left a lot of weak tens and shot 206. Tried to move right but then it over reacted so I took out the jab in the second game and Played straighter but it hooked more than the hyroad. Had to played 2 boards deeper than the hyroad but finished a lot stronger than the hyroad. Left only one ringing ten pin but only shot 248 and 246 the last two games because I didn't move left fast enough. Love the hyroad and drilled 4 and I feel the jab is going to be the same but bowled only 2 games with it. Will let you know more when in few weeks.

Love my Jab. Can play with it first game if I want and just keep moving left. Ball is great for opening up the lanes. I actually like to start with the Cross and go straighter, but then as they break down switch to the Jab. Don't be afraid to drill it strong.

The Melee Jab is a great ball. I still use it very often, especially in tournament play. I have 2 of them. They take surface changes great. Great thing is when adding more surface the shape stays pretty close just hooks more.
The ball is very clean through the fronts and wants to corner pretty hard. I use this ball the most when I get deep and need the ball to really flip down lane.

I still have the original one I drilled in my bag, I like to keep it dull with a 1000 pad. It rolls like a champ!

Pulled mine out the other day and my first thought was "why did I ever put it away?" The only answer I could come up with is because I never want to put my LT-48 down. But the Jab is just awesome. Buy it!
