congratulations go out to brunswick regional staffer mike mineman on winning his first pba national title ! mike won the 2007 bayer classic defeating mike machuga in the title match. way to go mike !

its ok for people to tell what they know about a ball thats not released and really is a private issue and people stick up for them, but when a guy posts on who won the tourn today people act like its the end of the world.

this argument is going nowhere. it is my opinion that i am right and you all know your opinion. just to show that there are no hard feelings i make the following post:

if any of you are bowling any regional tournaments in the midwest region this spring/summer/fall i'll make you the following wager. loser buys dinner----i'll buy you dinner if you beat me and visa versa. here is my schedule provided my back/hip are up to it:



april 21......raytown, mo

june 23......belton, mo

july 14......chillicothe, mo

july 28......council bluffs, ia

october 13......springfield, mo

This topic is pointless. And its heading no where. Get over the fact that you found out who won before you got to watch it. It's just like all the people that go see the movie and tell there friends what happens before them watching it. Same idea. This is a free forum and anyone who feels like posting something, they can.

I have been participating on ballreviews for about a month now.  This is the first time I've noticed this argument.  Frankly, I'm glad to have missed it.

Not everyone has been doing this for long... So whether it comes from Gregg Hoppe or a newcomer, it's probably going to happen almost every week, so put your blinders on, plug you ears, don't turn on the news, live in a cave or better yet, just deal with it.

If finding out who wins an event (before you wanted to know) is the worst thing that happens to you today, then LIFE IS GOOD!!  Appreciate it.

By the way, great job Mike Mineman!  And way to go Walter Ray!  He MIGHT win next week.

notclay, you couldn't have said it any better. it could always be worse. two weeks ago i went off the highway in a snowstorm and am lucky the only repairs needed are to my car.......

Knowing who wins before watching the show has absolutely no affect on the outcome. Every frame, every game is scored the same whether live or taped. Knowing don't change chit.

i'm with  SKIDSNAP here,  i mean theres a bunch of guys on here complainng that  the match is ruined, but why are you looking on a website that has nothing but bowling infomation on it.  i mean it's undetstandable you don't want to know who won if you didn't watch it yet, but If you don't want the outcome "spoiled" then don't be on bowling websites, it's comon sence, now if you were on a website say... about cell phones and someone said who won a PBA show then i can see the reason for being pissed off. But Comne on !

So does this mean if you had to work the day of the Super Bowl or The Word Series or the Daytona  500 that no one should post the winner since you did'nt get to watch it.  It was an exciting finish  so it's worth watching even if you know who one.
